Born: January 1, 1943 in Hull, Yorkshire, England. The only Child of George and Mary Jones. Immigrated to British Columbia, Canada in 1954.

Have always had a strong interest in Art and Music since early childhood. My mother was a classical pianist until someone dropped a bomb on her piano during the war. After graduating from High School, I attended what was then the Vancouver School of Art (now Emily Carr) and have been involved in  numerous other art courses since then.

Mine, like most parents, thought I should spend my time looking for a more dependable career. Consequently, my full time occupation was mostly in the construction industry.

I paint just about anything that catches my interest such as landscapes, seascapes, portraits, wildlife, etc. I have a strong leaning towards surrealism and mysticism using strong color and light. I use acrylic but

also paint in mixed medium.

I am enjoying working with this new co-op gallery and the companionship of this fun bunch of artists.
